I am Lisa Franklin, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Warriors on Wheels of Metropolitan Detroit.   WOW’s  inception was July 2008.  Birthed from a God Given vision, after an automobile accident with a drunk driver in 1996;  I now use a wheelchair for mobility.

Our mission is to advocate in the best interest of individuals with disabilities.  We work with policy analyst, other social justice organizations, disability rights and activist for one common goal; to eliminate the great divide in opportunities for this population in accessible affordable housing, quality transportation and other resources to sustain life and overall respect to this community of individuals who have disabilities. 

Warriors on Wheels of Metropolitan Detroit aka W.O.W., is a 501 c 3 non profit, public charity organization of wheelchair users and people with various disabilities.
